Recently we were asked by Haxby Shotokan Karate Club to produce two Nafudakake for club instructors in recognition of the many hours dedicated to the club and its members.
They wanted to incorporate the Association, club and their instructors rank and name. HSKC asked that the nafuda were made from sapele and maple hardwoods and the JKS kanji used are from a graphic supplied by the association.
If you are thinking about commissioning a nafudanake please remember that our nafudakake are all custom made and take 4 to 6 weeks to produce.
